Although the flight from Geneva to London never took off due to the heavy snow in Britain closing down most airports, the flight was re-routed to Paris, where we could then take the Eurostar in to London (which of course faced a 4-hour delay too since the train in front of us was stuck in the English channel tunnel and had to literally be dragged out).
But any annoyance (at the inconvenience and delay) soon vanished, for riding the Eurostar in wintertime through the very flat and snow-filled Northern France into London at sunset was indeed a very charming sight.
