It’s been a while since I last saw a film I like as much as I did with Herb & Dorothy which is currently showing at Sinema Old School (Mount Sophia) as part of the Design Film Festival. So good I want to watch it all over again and own the DVD.
This is a documentary that tells the story of 2 humble New Yorkers Herb & Dorothy – a postal clerk and a librarian – who share a common and unpretentious love for art and their lifelong journey in collecting art. Shot in a light-hearted and humourous tone, it is a beautiful portrayal of their passion for art. Only 1 more screening left on Jan 29th if you’d like to catch it.
